Editorial to Everyday: Translating High-End Looks
We worked with 45 participants to deconstruct 8 editorial looks from Turkish fashion magazines and Vogue editorials. Each session broke down the styling choices—fabric choices, proportion ratios, colour blocking—and showed how to adapt them into everyday wardrobes using accessible pieces. Participants learned to identify what makes a look work beyond the price tag.
Colour Harmony and Proportion: Building Visual Balance
A 6-week intensive exploring colour theory and visual weight. We taught participants why certain outfits feel cohesive while others clash—moving beyond personal preference into the principles of contrast, undertone matching, and silhouette balance. By the final session, 38 attendees could analyze any look and explain why it worked using design principles.
Outfit Deconstruction Masterclass: Breaking Down the Details
Held in Istanbul and Ankara, this hands-on session taught 30 participants to deconstruct real outfits from their own wardrobes. We examined focal points, proportions, and colour placement—teaching them to see beyond "I like this" to "Here's why this works." The goal: developing personal interpretation rather than copying looks directly.
Personal Style Interpretation: From Analysis to Action
Working with a style-conscious community group in Izmir, we created a 4-week project where participants analyzed looks they admired, understood the principles, and then intentionally adapted them to match their own lifestyle and preferences. Rather than copying outfits, they learned to translate principles into their personal wardrobe language.
